Not long after arriving in Spain the realisation dawned that the Spanish I had done at college nearly 20 years ago needed a bit of refreshing. Because I had previous knowledge John put me in an intermediate group at first followed by the intensive course over a period of about 2-3 years.
During this time I went on several of the trips which are without a doubt the highlight of the term. It is a great way of exploring the area as well as speaking and listening to Spanish whilst knowing there is back up if you need it.
John and his team make learning fun, and I still hear John’s voice in my head sometimes when I’m thinking of how to apply the subjunctive.
